Collection: Code Geass

Code Geass is a Japanese animated series created by Sunrise, written by Ichirō Ōkouchi and illustrated by the manga group Clamp. The series takes place in an alternate universe where the Holy Empire of Britannia has conquered Japan and renamed it "Area 11". The story focuses on the main character, Lelouch vi Britannia, who gains a mysterious power called "Geass".

Lelouch Lamperouge, a student at the private school Ashford Academy, accidentally discovers the power of Geass, which grants him the ability to give absolute orders that others are forced to follow. With this new ability, Lelouch sets out on a quest to overthrow the Britannian Empire and avenge his mother's death.

The “Code Geass” series skillfully blends elements of politics, military strategy, mecha, and psychological drama. The plot is complex, with unexpected twists and moral conflicts that question the characters' choices. Lelouch, as an anti-hero protagonist, is particularly fascinating to fans because he must juggle his personal motivations with the consequences of his actions on a global political stage.

The first season, "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion", is followed by the second season, "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2". The series was well received for its gripping plot, well-developed characters, and complex themes. Collectible figure enthusiasts often appreciate the mecha's distinctive designs, called "Knightmare Frames", as well as the series' memorable characters.
